We’re packing our bags and heading to Plymouth, Michigan for the Midwest Trust & Wealth Management Conference. This conference a great one, because it’s put together by the Michigan Bankers Association, Indiana Bankers Association, Ohio Bankers League and Illinois Bankers Association. Association of Trust Organizations – September 28-30th

We’ll be in Las Colinas, Texas for the Association of Trust Organizations Conference.

This Annual Meeting is becoming the industry event everybody talks about. This year, there will be three days jam-packed with topics related to, and exploring the concepts behind, their theme, “Spotlighting Next-Gen Growth.”

National Trust Closely Held Business Association Conference – September 8-11th

We are heading down the road to Fort Worth next week for the National Trust Closely Held Business Association (NTCH) Conference at the historic Hilton Hotel in downtown.

NTCH is a not-for-profit organization that serves as an education and information resource for the bank trust industry. Membership is comprised of specialists in bank trust departments who manage closely held business interests and other professionals such as business appraisers and attorneys.

The program will include presentations on topics essential to closely held asset management, opportunities to meet some of the brightest people in our industry and a chance to network with colleagues from across the country.

11/12/13 – PDS Companies joins the UT Arlington Gift Planning Council

PDS Companies, Inc. is located in Arlington, Texas. For many reasons, we are proud of our town and our community. One of the many important aspects of our community that we fervently support is education. As stewards of our community, we feel strongly that we must lend our time and talents to help further the reach of educational and community involvement programs offered by the wonderful University of Texas at Arlington.

Therefore, Kip Newnham, Chief Operating Officer and Vice-President of PDS Services, and Richard Jacobs, President of PDS Services, have become members of the UT Arlington Gift Planning Council. As members, Kip and Richard will provide expertise in regards to technical, marketing, resource management and other opportunities related to UT Arlington gift planning.  Kip and Richard are proud to serve as community advocates and are excited to make a positive impact in the advancement of UT Arlington programs. Part of this involvement will be webcast seminars provided by UT Arlington on topics related to Estate and Gift Planning.

He also serves on the UT System Chancellor’s Centurion Council, Maverick Club Advisory Committee, 1895 Society Committee and is a member of the Edward E. Rankin Legacy Society. Neer is dedicated to enhancing key partnerships, improving communications and marketing and advancing student leadership programs at UT Arlington.
